Loved sharing my workshop “The Secrets of Stress Relief and The Science of Self Care!” with 66 awesome high school students at St. Paul's School for Girls’ Health and Wellness Day this Monday! Thanks to SPSG for inviting me and hosting this important event and the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Center for Integrative Health for speaking about Health, Wellness, Mindfulness, and Self-Love! She facilitated engaging small group and large discussions about strategies to: Identify one’s own biases and reduce use of implicit bias Learn more about colleagues’ and students’ life experiences and make meaningful cross-cultural relationships Begin Self-Discovery Journey Create Caring, Respectful, and Anti-bias Teaching Strategies Incorporating Creativity, Play, and Self-Expression in Classrooms How to Foster a Sense of Community Among Faculty and Administrators
